Resilience Services for Frontline Staff
Our program is designed specifically for frontline professionals in organ donation and transplantation who face the unique challenges of high-stakes decision-making, moral dilemmas, and constant change. We understand the emotional toll of burnout, team turnover, and the pressure to perform in life-and-death situations. Through a supportive and evidence-based approach, we help you navigate these stressors with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.
In this program, participants will gain practical tools to regulate stress in real time, align actions with values, and remain grounded during even the most intense moments. Our continuing education sessions combine neuro-somatic techniques, guided reflection, and meaningful discussion to address the impact of secondary trauma while fostering personal growth. With the support of coaches who have lived your world and bring specialized training, staff will build lasting resilience that not only sustains well-being but also strengthens the ability to serve others.

System Workflow Solutions
Our Workflow Optimization & Sustainable Systems program helps organ donation and transplantation teams streamline processes, integrate technology, and build systems that last. From EMR platforms like EPIC and Phoenix to cross-team communication and documentation flow, we focus on creating efficiency without sacrificing human connection. We understand the unique demands of this field and design solutions that not only work on paper, but also support the people who make them run.
Led by nervous system–informed coaches, our approach combines change readiness training with practical system integration strategies to reduce overwhelm, increase adoption, and improve performance. We address both the technical and human sides of workflow change—ensuring your team has the tools, mindset, and confidence to transition smoothly. The result is a sustainable, resilient system that supports your mission, strengthens collaboration, and frees your team to focus on what matters most: saving and healing lives.

Guardian Leadership Academy
The Leadership Academy equips new leaders in organ donation and transplantation—especially those transitioning from the frontline—with the skills, tools, and mindset to lead with confidence in complex, high-pressure environments. We understand the challenges of stepping into leadership while navigating burnout, role changes, and the emotional weight of critical decisions. Our program bridges the gap between clinical expertise and leadership effectiveness, helping leaders inspire, guide, and sustain individuals and teams.
Through a blend of continuing education, practical leadership frameworks, and real-world application, leaders will learn to regulate stress, navigate moral and ethical challenges, and communicate with clarity during high-stakes conversations. Our coaches provide personalized guidance to help align with values, strengthen team trust, and foster resilience across the organization. Leaders will leave with the tools and confidence to not only lead effectively, but to create an environment where individuals and teams can thrive.
Education, support, and deep connection to the mission.
As nurses, we have dedicated 20 years of service to the donation and transplant community. We have found that it is difficult to find supportive resources that are unique to the challenges we face in this work. It is a form of service like no other, and we are here to be on the forefront of innovation for this community and close this gap.
Our program is centered around fostering emotional well-being, strength and resiliency. We speak the truth that is often unspoken in hopes to create comfort in knowing you are not alone. In every layer of an organization, there is a need for support and we tailor our training to meet your needs.

“We feel lucky to have connected with Kelly and Sara from Guardians of the Gift. Working in donation is truly a gift but in these tumultuous times it is impossible to overlook the challenges employees face while carrying out this important mission.
Carving out a space for conversation, shared learning and practicing tangible applications of skills was monumental for our advanced clinical teams. The staff received skills that support their own resilience and learned the importance of their role in recognizing stress responses in onsite coordinators and how to communicate in a way that helps with nervous system coregulation.
My team was open-minded about the ‘physical’ activities we did in the workshop and gave positive feedback overall. I was able to see a positive shift in some team members right away. I look forward to building out future training and growth opportunities with GOG and believe that anyone in a leadership role should acquire the skills they teach.”
